Free memory test: Detect dementia risk on September 25th!
Things get serious for the citizens of Ostallgäu in September: On September 25th, the Ostallgäu district office is inviting people to a free dementia screening day from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. As part of the sixth Bavarian Dementia Week, everyone interested has the opportunity to have their memory performance scientifically tested. This is particularly intended for people aged 65 and over with memory or performance decline. The test, organized by digiDEM Bayern and Sandra Wieland, takes around 15 to 20 minutes and although it does not replace a comprehensive medical examination, it can provide an initial indication of early recognition of dementia-related changes and the activation of appropriate offers of help.
The event is intended to help participants to better understand the topic and to initiate effective measures. Registrations can be made by calling 08342/911624 or by email sandra.wieland@lra-oal.bayern.de possible. Take advantage of this opportunity to learn more about your memory performance and to be able to react in a timely manner if necessary.
