The Freising sports and adventure community (SE Freising) is currently in great shape during summer preparations. After an already impressive start, the newly formed district league team played their third test match in just eight days last Saturday. The Freisingers were able to boast a 2-1 win against TSV Jetzendorf, a team from the Southwest Regional League. In this match, the team particularly stood out in the first round and was able to take a deserved lead.
The game started optimally for SE Freising when Marzuk Shaban played the decisive pass to Joshua Steindorf in the 16th minute, who took the lead. Despite a late equalizer by Stefan Stöckl in the 86th minute, coach Alex Schmidbauer's team showed great nerves. Just two minutes later, Iosif Racean put his team back in front with a beautiful long-range shot from 18 meters. Schmidbauer praised his players' reaction to the equalizer and stated that quality was crucial. “We were rewarded for our performance in the first half,” he said, while also mentioning the defensive work, which still needs to be improved.

With the next test match on Thursday at 7:30 p.m. against FC Walkertshofen, SE Freising is already looking towards the coming season.
