Shaping the future: Lebenshilfe Ostallgäu-Kaufbeuren invites you to the general meeting!

Lebenshilfe Ostallgäu-Kaufbeuren e.V. invites you to the annual general meeting, which will take place on Monday, November 10, 2025, at 7 p.m. in the hall of the Wertachtal workshops at Porschestrasse 30 in Kaufbeuren. This important meeting will not only focus on looking back and looking ahead to the past few months, but also on the election of a new board, at which two people with disabilities will be represented on the board for the first time. As part of this, there will also be a round of discussions with the board and management before the election. Members are called upon to actively use their voting rights and to get involved. This event also offers the opportunity for personal exchange with other committed people, specialists and those responsible. In this way, the membership of Lebenshilfe Ostallgäu-Kaufbeuren, one of the largest non-profit organizations in the Allgäu with 750 members and over 600 employees, is noticeably strengthened.

New ways of inclusion in Kaufbeuren

The Lebenshilfe general meeting, which recently took place in the “Hubertus” country inn in Apfeltrang, has already presented important innovations that will advance inclusive development in Kaufbeuren. Board member Wolfgang Neumayer emphasized the importance of the committed members, whose energy contributes significantly to the positive development of the association.

A central project is the planned opening of the inclusive restaurant “Schauburg” in the Kaufbeuren cultural workshop, which is scheduled for winter 2025. Here, people with and without disabilities will work hand in hand, which not only strengthens cohesion but also breaks down barriers. Promoting equal opportunities
