Fighting spirit in the Künzinger Römerstadion: Grafenau wants to win away!

There is a lot going on in the football community at the moment: the teams from the region are preparing for the upcoming games and are doing everything they can to improve their performance. The focus is on TSV Grafenau, who recently won an exciting game against Mauth with a narrow 4:3. In the previous game there was a 3-3 draw against Garham, which corresponds to a goal difference of 7-6 in the last two games, as the PNP reported. Coach Alexander Adam and his assistant coach Sebastian Raml are now required to close the defensive gaps in the defense in order to be successful in the coming games.

The next match for TSV Grafenau is on Saturday at 3 p.m. in the Künzinger Römerstadion. The Grafenauers have a challenging record in Künzing: out of eight games played, they were only able to win one - their last win was nine years ago. The prospects are not rosy, but the team is determined to put an end to the negative series.

The competition never sleeps

It's not just Grafenau that is struggling. TSV Mauth, who play against SV Schalding-Heining's Bayernliga reserves on Saturday at 3 p.m., also haven't won in their last two home games. Team manager Uli Köberl has found clear words and is calling for a significant increase in performance compared to the last game, which ended 2-2 against Hofkirchen. Schalding-Heining has not had to admit defeat in the last three games and is only three points behind Mauth.

The numbers speak for themselves: Mauth has scored at least two goals in each of his five games this season so far, but has also conceded at least two goals. This makes the team vulnerable and shows that there is a need for action. It will be exciting to see whether they can turn things around against Schaldinger.

Waldkirchen's challenge

Meanwhile, there is also an important game coming up for TSV Waldkirchen. On Saturday at 4 p.m. the team will play against SV Oberpolling in Nammering. Waldkirchen can look back on a positive record against Oberpolling, as in the last five years the team has only lost one of eight duels against this opponent.

However, Waldkirchen has to accept a bitter setback: Captain Christoph Neuwirth is out with a leg injury, and Matthias Pauli is also on vacation and suffering from injuries. Sebastian Weiß recently had to help out in central defense, which doesn't make the situation any easier for the coach and team.

More games in the region

There are more exciting encounters next weekend that will have fans excited:

  • Grainet – Hutthurm (Freitag, 16 Uhr)
  • Bischofsmais – Ruhmannsfelden (Freitag, 17 Uhr)
  • Deggendorf – Oberdiendorf (Freitag, 17 Uhr)
  • Obernzell-Erlau – Niederalteich (Samstag, 14 Uhr)
  • Garham – Hofkirchen (Samstag, 16 Uhr)

The pressing question remains: Can the domestic teams find their form and put in strong performances? The coming days will bring the answers!
