A shocking appearance by the Rosenheim Sports Association (SBR) was a topic of conversation among fans on August 10, 2025. The young team had to admit defeat to SV Miesbach 0:8 on home turf and thus remains at the bottom of the table in the East District League. Dominance of the Miesbachers
The second half was similarly disappointing for the Rosenheim team. A 25-meter free kick from Sean Erten in the 58th minute made it 4-0, followed by further goals from Sontheim and Wiedmann. Sontheim finally scored a hat-trick and put in a great performance, which was supported by his teammate Wiedmann with three goals. The Miesbachers never let their opponents come to their senses and dominated the entire game. After the game, coach Hans-Werner Grünwald was very satisfied with the performance of his protégés and noted that they kept the ball in their own rhythm until the end.
For the Rosenheim Sports Association, however, this defeat represents a massive setback. After the game, the coach and team realized that there is still a lot of work to be done to improve performance. The next challenge awaits next Friday, when Miesbach will compete in Ampfing.
