Toy Run 2025: Over 1000 bikers collect donations for needy children!

Today, on June 21, 2025, over 1,000 motorcyclists gather in the Ostallgäu for a very special occasion - the Toy Run. This annual event organized by the Toy Run Mod association is much more than just a motorcycle tour. It primarily serves a good cause: to collect donations for needy children and families in the region.

Registration for the participants begins at 1 p.m. at the fairground of the fashionon, where everyone receives a Toy Run Bear. Just in time at 3 p.m., the colorful column starts moving at a speed of about 60 km/h. The route leads from Marktoberdorf over several places back to fashionon and lasts about 90 minutes. And while the bikers are traveling with a lot of heart and engine noise, the spectators can look forward to a lively atmosphere. They too have the opportunity to help children and watch the action live.

a strong joint commitment

The idea of ​​the Toy Run was born in 2003 after no toy was available in a child in the hospital. Since then, the event has developed into one of the largest charitable motorcycle trips in southern Germany. Every year the donations collected flow 100 percent to the support of children in need - be it for clothing, school needs, rent or shopping vouchers.

The Toy Run Mod association, which was founded in 2004 as a non -profit sponsoring association, has collected more than 140,000 euros for disadvantaged children and their families since its foundation. Transparency is very important here because the cash management can be viewed publicly. And the commitment goes far beyond the main event: the association is also present at the Marktoberdorf Christmas market and informs about its work.

A look at the story

The motivation to found the association was a personal tragedy: in autumn 2002, cancer was diagnosed in a child, which gave the impetus to the first benefit exit in 2003. At that time, the playroom of a children's cancer station was financially supported. Since then the event has developed and the response among the population is consistently positive.

The organizers ask all road users to show understanding for possible traffic disruptions during the exit. Parts of the route are blocked by local fire brigades to ensure the safety of everyone involved.

For today, sunny and warm temperatures are predicted, which should only give a successful Toy Run more buoyancy. Support the important work of the club and enjoy the joint exit that moves not only the streets, but also the hearts. This means that the motorcycle bikers once again prove that you can do a lot with a good hand for together and a strong drive.
