Father in court: attempted murder of daughter with poison seal!

A shocking case is currently occupying the courts in Bavaria: a 28-year-old father is under strong suspicion of having shoved a poison seal into his own daughter's mouth. This was supposedly done to avoid paying alimony, like that South German newspaper reported. The incident is believed to have occurred last December. The accusation is serious, but the defendant's defense attorney rejects these allegations.

In the courtroom, the child's mother gave spicy insights into her daughter's health. She emphasized that the little one was doing well and that she was regularly praised for her achievements in kindergarten. The prosecution also stated that the girl suffered no permanent damage. Nevertheless, the public prosecutor's office sticks to its harsh assessment: the girl did not die by pure chance, which further underlines the seriousness of the accusation.

A complex background

The situation is further complicated by the history of the mother and her partner. The mother has sole custody of her daughter, who was born in 2007. Her partner was convicted of sexual abuse of children in October 2015 and had to undergo a ban on contact with children and young people. It is known that between 2009 and 2013 he made contact with girls between the ages of 10 and 13 over the Internet and encouraged them to engage in sexual acts.

In January 2018, the youth welfare office took the daughter into care and the district court decided that this was not necessary, which meant that she was ordered to be released to the mother. However, the Karlsruhe Higher Regional Court revoked the mother's right of residence and ordered additional measures. The Federal Court of Justice then intervened and called for an examination of the relevant factors in order to specifically assess the child's best interests. In particular, he emphasized that the daughter's previous developments while living with her mother were positive, which had not previously been sufficiently appreciated by the courts, as stated in the documents of the NWB stands.

In the context of these dramatic events, the question arises: How can such extreme accusations come about within a family? The girl's apparently positive development has affected the lawyers, who now have to deal with the complex risk situation. It remains to be seen how the justice system will respond to this tragic case and what further details will come to light.
