Erding celebrates neighborhood: market and fun on October 25th!
The anticipation for the “neighborhood market” is growing! On Saturday, October 25, 2025, the town hall square in Hallbergmoos will be transformed into a meeting place for young and old. The city of Erding will have its own information stand where interested citizens can find out everything about the new Klettham-Nord district center. This market takes place from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and offers a colorful program of various market stalls from Erding, Freising, Fraunberg and other institutions. A highlight is the Sound of Science show, which will captivate those hungry for knowledge, while a quiz about the region promises exciting surprises.
But that's not all! Visitors can also look forward to exciting test rides with cargo bikes and e-rickshaws. For anyone who wants to take things a little easier, the “Seelsorgebank” is available – a place for conversations and a moment of contemplation. A very special item on the program is the vehicle blessing, which will certainly attract numerous onlookers. This makes this market not only a culinary delight, but also a social event for the entire neighborhood.
A variety of activities in Klettham-Nord
In the run-up to the market, the community is already abuzz with activity. The last few weeks have been all about community: from October 14th to 30th, numerous events will take place in the new district. Citizens' consultation hours, neighborhood cafés with games and special workshops on the topics of mindfulness and biodiversity are just a few examples from the colorful calendar. On October 14th alone, play sessions in the neighborhood café and English conversation sessions took place. Even a sheepshead tournament on October 16th ensured sociable hours among the neighbors.
Another highlight of the coming days is the “Cuenta Cuentos” format, a story time for children, which will be offered on October 26th from 11 a.m. The regular sitting exercises, organized by Sabine Blessing, offer a wonderful opportunity for everyone who is looking for physical and mental balance. These events not only promote health, but also cohesion within the community.
A life in Klettham-Nord
The new Klettham-Nord district center has set itself the goal of creating a lively and supportive environment in which neighbors can come together, exchange ideas and grow together. Regular public consultation hours, such as those held by Melike Gems and Stefanie Auer, offer citizens the opportunity to express their concerns directly and listen to the community's concerns.
The events in Klettham-Nord are an excellent opportunity for everyone to promote curiosity and exchange within the neighborhood. The combination of fun, education and community activities also reflects the magical character of this region and strengthens togetherness. So it remains to be hoped that as many citizens as possible will find their way to Hallbergmoos on October 25th and experience an unforgettable day together.
