Dance fever in the Globe: Dance Dome inspires 200 young talents!
On June 30, 2025, the Globe Theater in Coburg will once again be the venue for a fascinating dance festival: the Dance Dome. This event promises to enchant the audience with a successful mix of grace, movement and energy, as around 200 young talents show off their skills and make the stage shake.
The dance gala, which is organized by the city's cultural department, is organized by seven regional dance schools with a colorful program of different styles. From classical ballet to jazz and samba to hip-hop, creative talents from Coburg and the surrounding area will be on stage. This year the event is being held for the second time and has, how the city of Coburg announced, established as an integral part of the cultural program.
A feast for the senses
The atmosphere in the packed Globe Theater is described as a thrilling spectacle, full of color and emotion. As the head of the cultural department, Kerstin Lindenlaub, emphasizes, theDance Domerepresents a special opportunity for the young generation to immerse themselves in the world of theater. The audience can look forward to around 90 minutes of varied performances that combine different dance styles and thus reflect the diversity of the dance schools in Coburg.
The connection between people and culture is also highlighted by Deborah Rosenfeld from the culture department. This becomes particularly noticeable at the gala, when the talents of the various dance schools conquer the stage together. This all happens in the spirit of the “Youth plays for youth” initiative, which aims to support and promote the performance of young dancers.
Tickets and advance sales
Advance ticket sales for the event have already started. Those interested can purchase tickets from 6 euros, both at advance booking offices and in the Landestheater's online shop. It is recommended to act quickly as demand is high and the performance promises to be an unforgettable experience not only for the dancers but also for the audience.
