The last confirmed visual contact took place at 11:50 a.m. when he was walking towards Altötting town. Attentive citizens eventually gave the police crucial information about his whereabouts. The man was recognized by a police officer in his free time on Sunday morning and was picked up a short time later by a patrol in the Altöttingen city area. This is reported by the PNP.
