Experience the National Park Day: Fixed with music and fun on June 29th!

On Sunday, June 29, 2025, the Steigerwald National Park invites you to an atmospheric garden festival in the Klosterbräu in Ebrach. From 1 p.m. to 7 p.m., visitors can expect a colorful program that is equally interesting for young and old. In and around Schweinfurt reports of highlights such as live music, dance-intelligence and a poetry slam. In addition, the honorary chairman of the Bund Naturschutz (BN), Hubert Weiger, will keep a speech.

The motto of this event is: "Steigerwald National Park - a treasure for Bavaria and great opportunity for the region". The organizers want to highlight the importance of the state beech forests and draw attention to the protection of these valuable natural areas. The event is supported by several partners, including the Steigerwald National Park Association, the BUND Nature Conservation Bamberg and the Freundeskreis National Park Steigerwald.

The program for the National Park Day offers numerous attractions: In addition to the opportunity to find out about the special flora and fauna of the Steigerwald - including wild bees, birds and amphibians - there is also a diverse children's program. Here the little ones can paint stones under instructions, carve or give animal tracks and even try out stone sculptures.

The bands "Bauklötze amazement (BKS)" and the cult rock band "Don’t Ask" provide the musical entertainment. The Klosterbräu gastronomy ensures the physical well -being of the numerous guests. Don't miss the opportunity to spend a wonderful day outdoors with good food and great music!

There are exciting offers in the morning: At 10 a.m., a forest excursion from the BUND nature conservation starts at Felsenkellerstraße 1 in Ebrach. Interested parties can also take part in a guided bike tour from Bamberg to Ebrach at 10:30 a.m., which starts at the Babenberger district/Fuchsenwiese car park.
