Around 3,500 individual starters and 700 relay teams showed once again that triathlon is not just sport, but also a large community event. The organizers have put a lot of effort into making the transition area a place of discovery. Here the athletes can not only prepare, but also immerse themselves in the fascinating world of triathlon.

In Roth the temperatures during race week are often almost tropical. This represents a real challenge for both beginners and experienced triathletes. The number of participants in these events has increased continuously in recent years - from 90,000 in 2003 to over 270,000 in 2016.
