Rosenheim sets an example: Children's Rights Day at the Salzstadel!

In a few days the time has come: On Saturday, November 22nd, 2025, an important day of action on the subject of children's rights will take place in the heart of Rosenheim. From 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., the Salzstadel becomes a creative and lively meeting place for children and families. The day should not only set an example for the importance of children's rights, but also become a place for gathering and togetherness.

What exactly can visitors expect this Saturday? A new tree will serve as a central symbol to root awareness of children's rights - and in a very practical way! Numerous hands-on activities invite the little ones to do crafts, paint and design, so everyone can get creative. Fresh-from-the-oven pizza from Guzzi Pizza and warming drinks ensure your physical well-being and make the day even sweeter.

Together for children's rights

Mayor Andreas März will also be there and point out the special rights of children and young people. The event is well thought-out organized by the city of Rosenheim and numerous cooperation partners, including the Kinderschutzbund Rosenheim e.V., the city youth ring, the social space team East, various family support centers, the Villa Kunterbunt house for children and the police. A real community project that shows how important it is to live children's rights in everyday life.

In addition to the festival program, there are also many ideas and activities to discover that raise awareness of the issue of children's rights. If you would like to find out more in advance, you will find a variety of suggestions on the kinderrechte-portal website and can be inspired by how children's rights can be creatively implemented in schools and after-school care centers.

The event represents the important goal of creating a lively place where children and their concerns are the focus. Come along, bring your children and enjoy a colorful day full of action and community. Let us show together that children's rights are a matter close to our hearts.

And don't forget: There are many opportunities to support and promote children's rights in everyday school life and beyond. Perhaps the day here in Rosenheim will also inspire new ideas about how these rights can be made visible and tangible.
