The young music scene in Bavaria has an exciting new star in the sky: Elimako! The talented musician, who lived and studied in Passau for a while, is currently capturing the attention of various music lovers with her current EP “Ein Jahr”. She uses a unique mix of indie, German pop and hip-hop. Her career shows how complex and stubborn she is in fighting for her dreams.
Elimako started her musical career on her grandmother's keyboard and continued to develop her skills on the laptop, which she received at the age of 16. With every note and every text, a piece of her soul was revealed. Many of her songs were written in Passau, especially in places like the Innpromenade and the Café Studio 12. The first pieces were released on Soundcloud, starting in English before switching to German. These works are not only an expression of her creativity, but also an outlet for her personal emotions, which always inspires her.
From the first EP to the current tour
In recent years, Elimako has found a permanent place in the music landscape with songs like “atlantik” and “Wilde Herzen”. The single “atlantik”, released in 2024, deals with the theme of being lost and the painful realization that some things don’t come back. Musically, it combines spherical keys with driving drums, which impressively reflects the inner conflict of the protagonists. Her extraordinary voice and fragile nuances make her DIY productions special.
The debut EP “8 Steps” was released in September 2024 and covered topics such as desire and the difficulties of interpersonal relationships. Elimako herself says that her music is also a reflection of her own experiences. The new EP “One Year” focuses on how she pushed her limits during her studies and overcame the challenges of life. Her lyrics are profound and thought-provoking - a combination that is very popular with young and young-at-heart listeners.
On tour through Germany, Austria and Switzerland
After a major performance at the Reeperbahn Festival in Hamburg in 2025, Elimako will launch their first headlining tour “in a year” in October 2025, which includes nine stops in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. She already enjoys great support from well-known artists such as Blumengarten and JEREMIAS, who accompany her at support shows.
With placements on playlists and coverage in media outlets such as Amazon Music, DIFFUS and MTV Push, it's clear that Elimako is set to shake up the music landscape. Her determination and talent are a true inspiration to those who also want to pursue their dreams.
