A shocking murder has shocked Obermenzing. 62-year-old Ulrich Zilker, who lived alone on Keyserlingstrasse, was found on July 7, 2025 - dead for several days. The Munich police have already launched a call for help. Anyone who knew Ulrich Zilker or has information about his final days is asked to get in touch. The investigators are particularly interested in encounters with Zilker, especially in his neighborhood or while shopping. Another event that marked the week was the fire in a grain field in Bogenhausen, which broke out on July 12, 2025. The fire brigade was able to extinguish the fire over an area of ​​50 x 300 meters. Investigations by Commissariat 13 are also ongoing, and the police are asking for information from the public, for example about sightings in the Im Moosgrund, Lebermoosweg and Apenrader Straße areas.

Meanwhile, an assault offense that took place on July 14, 2025 is being solved in Ottobrunn. A 12-year-old girl was threatened with a knife by a male perpetrator and injured herself while defending herself. The perpetrator, who fled and has not yet been found, is described as around 30 years old and slim, with a southern appearance and short black hair. Here, too, there is a call for witnesses to support the search.
