Looks like the district game festival in Kronach has once again captured people's hearts! Last Sunday, families and children gathered at the school center's sports facilities to enjoy a colorful day full of fun and activities. Organized by District youth group, the diverse offerings attracted not only the youngest, but also many young at heart. And the weather? Summer also played a part and created a great atmosphere.
The number of participants was record-breaking; Over a dozen associations, clubs and institutions contributed to the success of the festival, which has now become a popular tradition. The new edition of the district game festival, which was revived in 2015, is very popular and has since established itself as an integral part of the event calendar. As of 2016, it is now always celebrated on the third Sunday in July.
Diverse program for all age groups
What exactly was waiting for the visitors? An impressive program that featured exciting activities for both action lovers and creative minds. From the popular water slide to skating and basketball to chess and action painting, there was something for every taste. Particularly noteworthy is the district traffic guard's new hands-on station “Mobile - but safe”, which taught children about important road safety at the traffic training area.
The Support through mobile youth work and other initiatives was also noticeable. Both a playmobile and a bouncy castle were in use, which gave the little ones a lot of fun. Participants were able to demonstrate their skills and register for the Olympics. A docket that you had stamped for the tasks you had completed provided additional motivation - seven stamps entitled you to receive a holiday pass with discounts.
A celebration for the whole family
Entry to the festival was free, which certainly attracted many visitors and created an exuberant atmosphere. Parents and children had the opportunity to make new friends and spend time together. The great activities encouraged people to move and be creative, which further enhanced the positive atmosphere at the festival.
The district game festival has once again shown how important such events are for the community. It connects generations and is fun for everyone. If you weren't there this year, you should definitely mark the next date in your calendar!
