SV Ihrlerstein and Essing: Football marriage for the district league started!
In an exciting development for local football, SV Ihrlerstein and Sportfreunde Essing have decided to join forces and form a syndicate. The aim of this connection, particularly in the men's area, is to participate in the district league, which opens up an exciting perspective for both clubs. Those responsible have already relied on years of youth work and have worked out the details of the collaboration in intensive discussions since this winter. Andreas Meier from SV Ihrlerstein emphasizes that there were regular dialogues between the two clubs, which were intended to create the basis for this alliance. Florian Schäffer from Sportfreunde Essing also emphasizes the role of youth football as a decisive factor for the merger. The early information provided to the previous partner ATSV Kelheim II shows that everything was well organized.
A significant step in this new era is the engagement of Christopher Kiendl as coach of the first men's team. The 25-year-old sees great potential in the combination of experienced players and young talent. “We want to field two competitive teams that are strong in both the first and second rows and have enough players available,” explains Kiendl. In order to promote the integration of young players, SV Ihrlerstein has already added some talents to the starting eleven this season, such as 19-year-old Nico Schlagbauer and 18-year-old Johannes Deufel. This measure corresponds to the overarching goal of involving young people in the club and gaining a foothold in the district league in the long term.
New coaching team and fresh perspectives
The coaching change has already borne fruit. Ralf Karl is ending his role at SV Ihrlerstein at the end of this season, and the club management has great expectations of the new man on the sidelines, Christopher Kiendl. The club relies on attractive and successful football, which Kiendl should promote with his experience from the SpVgg Landshut youth performance center. The 41-year-old Ludwig Mederer also takes on responsibility for the second team, which represents a further building block in the strategy to integrate the youth players into the club in the long term.
Preparations are in full swing just in time for the start of training on June 18th, which will be celebrated with a barbecue. The first joint test kick will take place on June 22nd against TSV Oberisling, where the newly formed community will compete against each other on the pitch for the first time. Those responsible for both clubs have already scheduled a joint photo session to present the new syndicate to the media.
The future of football in Germany
In view of the development of football in Germany, the current membership figures of the German Football Association (DFB) also give cause for celebration. More than 7.7 million people are organized in over 24,000 football clubs, and the number of active players shows a positive trend. The DFB reports an increase in membership numbers of 4.7 percent compared to the previous season. Particularly noteworthy is the increase in young players and girls who are enriching the sport. This positive news is also reflected in the hope that the new collaborations, such as those between SV Ihrlerstein and Sportfreunde Essing, will contribute to strengthening regional football in the long term.
The integration of young talent and the training of trainers are very important, as the DFB proves with more than 19,000 successfully completed trainer training courses. A good framework for youth work in which the new gaming community wants to find its fresh perspective and its place.
