A tropical night will be forecast for the coming night of Thursday, followed by a cold front that brings with it. The DWD warns of hurricane -like gusts, heavy rain and hail.

The severe weather warnings include that up to 40 liters of rain per square meter could fall in individual regions on Thursday. After the oppressive heat at night, it gets much cooler in the following nights, with values ​​between 14 and 17 degrees, in some areas even up to 10 degrees. On Friday, people in Bavaria can look forward to a short weather break, especially in the low mountain ranges and in the Allgäu, while Untermain is an exception.
