Anniversary year in Fürth: celebrations, outdoor pool and pedestrian zone!

in Fürth there is a lot to celebrate in 2025! The year is filled with special anniversaries, including the 50th anniversary of the popular Grafflmarkt. This took place on June 25, 2023 and, despite the changeable weather, attracted many junk fans to the stands. Talks about the treasures from Grandma's Keller accompanied the visitors who pushed themselves through the colorful tables to get one or the other bargains. The weather was very hot the week before, but on the Grafflmarkt Day the sky was a bit gray.

Another highlight of 2025 will be the anniversary “70 Years of Fürth”, which will be celebrated on July 24th. This historical experience is looking forward to numerous visitors who want to enjoy the refreshing waves. And that's not all! The “50 Years Pedestrian Zone in Fürth” will also be celebrated in September with a colorful festival. To round off the whole thing, there will be a long shopping night in November to move people into the city center.

versatile festivities in Fürth

Fürth has developed strongly in recent years, especially on the former barracks site such as the Monteith Barracks and the Johnson Barracks. These areas have turned into living districts. A look at the series of upcoming celebrations shows that the city remains alive: On July 19, the court festival is on the plan, followed by Michaelis-Kärwa from October 3 to 12 and the traditionally popular apple market on October 19th.

The "highlights" on November 7th and 8th promise another spectacle that brings together the urban community, while the Fürth Festival will offer a platform for regional artists from July 11th to 13th. In any case, the diversity of the events is supplemented by the wine festival from July 24th to 27th, in which not only noble drops, but also the sociable atmosphere are very popular.

Another pleasant fact: No admission is raised for all festivities, which means that everyone has the opportunity to be part of the hustle and bustle. Whether at the court festival or the long shopping night - there is certainly something for everyone here.

and not to forget: On July 5, the construction site in Burgfarrnbach will end! One more reason to explore the city that has steadily turned over the past few decades. All information about the festivals and other events can be found on the website of the city of Fürth.
