Man threatens passengers on regional express: police are now investigating!
A strange incident occurred on Thursday morning, October 10, 2025, on the RE 1 regional express between Petershausen and Munich Central Station. At around 6:30 a.m., while the train was on its way to Dachau, a 47-year-old man began to harass his fellow passengers. He threatened to hit passengers and made other threatening statements. This uninvited conflict not only caused excitement on the train, but also led to a late arrival at Munich Central Station. The train was originally scheduled to arrive at 6:47 a.m., but the train only reached the station at 7:05 a.m.
An alert traveler quickly recognized the situation and alerted the police. Thanks to their quick action, the federal police were able to meet the suspect at the main train station and take him to the station. An alcohol test showed that the man had not consumed any alcohol - the result was 0.00 per mille. In further explanation, the 47-year-old stated that he was struggling with mental problems. After police action, he was released.
