In the night from 5th to July 6, 2025, a shocking sexual offense occurred in Heroldsberg, while the church consecration. A 17-year-old woman was on the festival site in Großschaidt around 1 a.m. when she was attacked by a 17-year-old perpetrator in an adjacent field. The police have already arrested the suspect and this is now in custody.

The Erlangen criminal police are urgently looking for witnesses who can provide information on the incident, in particular a male person who, according to the victim, lingered near the field. This man could have crucial information and is asked to report on 0911 2112-3333. All other witnesses who have made conspicuous observations are also cordially invited to report.
