A new festive tradition is being launched in Bad Tölz! On Saturday, July 12, 2025, the first “White Night” will take place in the pedestrian zone of Marktstrasse. The organizers, Thomas Benedikt and Marco Wanke from “Du & I Eventservice GbR”, invite everyone to show up in festive white clothing and enjoy the summer evening together. As the South German newspaper reported, the event will begin at 12 p.m. and last until midnight.
A highlight of the festival will be the culinary diversity offered by the numerous restaurants in the pedestrian zone. Visitors can look forward to delicacies such as currywurst, Kässpatzen, sausage salad and juicy burgers. Please note: Bringing your own food and drinks is not permitted. Shops around Market Street will be open until 8pm and will add to the festive atmosphere by decorating their windows in white, like the Mercury emphasized.
A varied music program
Musically, the “White Night” is enriched with a varied program on the main stage at the Winzerer Monument. DJ T-Razon will provide the first sounds from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m., followed by Fritz Max from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. The crowning finale will be the South American band “Wayna Picchu – Los Latinos Band” from 8 p.m. to 11 p.m. There will also be a lounge bar in the Oberland Passage with DJ Vossi from 6 p.m., which invites you to linger.
After the official end of the event at midnight, the Bürgergarten and SV Bad Tölz invite you to the summer party until 1.30 a.m., where the celebrations continue in a relaxed atmosphere. Mayor Ingo Mehner supports the private initiative and sees this event as an opportunity for integration into the city's event calendar South German newspaper reported.

The weather forecast is positive, which gives the organizers confidence. According to current planning, the decision on whether to hold the event will be made on the Wednesday before the event.
