New head of construction law Katharina Förg: Efficiency for Augsburg's construction projects!
The construction law department in the Augsburg district office has had new management since the beginning of July: Katharina Förg is taking over the areas of land use planning, building regulations as well as housing construction and housing benefit. These changes bring a breath of fresh air into the office, and District Administrator Martin Sailer is optimistic about future cooperation. “We look forward to the skills that Ms. Förg brings with her,” said Sailer.
Katharina Förg is a native of Gessertshausen and has a personal connection to her new field of activity. After completing a dual degree in finance at the Augsburg-Land tax office, she applied her knowledge in the field of law and worked at the Augsburg Administrative Court. There she was responsible for construction law in the 5th chamber and for immigration law and Corona aid law in the 6th chamber.
A service-oriented approach
With her new role, Förg would like to develop efficient and uncomplicated solutions in construction law and position the building authority as a reliable and service-oriented partner. This objective gives hope for a positive development of municipal building permit processes, which in the past were often characterized by long waiting times and bureaucratic hurdles.
The move from Daniel Förg, who has now moved to the State Ministry for Housing, Construction and Transport, also offers the opportunity for a new beginning. Förg's fresh look at the matter could benefit the administration and offer accessible services to citizens.
The challenges in construction law
In a context in which the number of legal disputes before administrative courts is constantly increasing, it is essential to design cost-effective procedures. According to kbw.de, good knowledge of cost law is crucial in order to successfully navigate the procedures. Legal disputes in construction law, which often involve additional costs for witnesses or experts, require careful litigation.
The importance of transparent billing modalities and the involvement of lawyers in the preliminary proceedings becomes clear here. These factors directly influence the experience of people dealing with construction law matters.
With Katharina Förg at the head of the building law department in the Augsburg district office, the citizens have found a contact person who not only scores points with her specialist knowledge, but also has a real commitment to her home district. District Administrator Martin Sailer is certain: “Under her leadership, the building authority will become a reliable partner for everyone interested in building.”
It remains to be seen how the new appointment will affect future projects in the district. One thing is clear, however: the course has been set to take bold new paths in construction law.
