There's really something going on in Augsburg in July! Several events are starting under the motto “Climate Change and Urban Greenness” that invite all interested citizens to actively address the challenges of climate change. It starts on July 4th with a varied walk organized by the Augsburg Environmental Station. From 7 p.m. to 9 p.m., Prof. Elke Hertig from the University of Augsburg will provide information about the health effects of climate change and important heat protection measures for buildings in the Environmental Education Center. A curatorial discussion as part of the exhibition “Heat Emergency Call Augsburg” starts at 5 p.m. and no registration is necessary.
