Animal emergencies in Aschaffenburg: Sibat, Diddl and Scamander are waiting!

In the small community of Wenighösbach, located in the picturesque Aschaffenburg district, a mixed breed dog was discovered wandering around in the nearby fields. The four-legged friend, called Sibat, was noticed by local residents who were concerned about the animal. As main-echo.de reports, Sibat shows severe lameness, which apparently bothered him for a long time. During their daily odyssey, Sibat was initially skeptical, but he can now be described as calm and nice at the animal shelter.

Unfortunately, the dog remains unidentified and its age cannot be determined with certainty. Many in the region are already looking for a new home for the animal as its past is unclear. The excitement surrounding Sibat shows once again how important the work of the Animal Protection Association Aschaffenburg is, which has been committed to the welfare of animals in the region since it was founded in 1889.

A variety of animal rescues in the region

But Sibat is not the only animal that currently needs help. A tomcat named Diddl was also spotted in a commuter parking lot on the B26 in Stockstadt. Diddl, a quiet and reserved unsterilized black and white tomcat, had been living in the area for several weeks before he was finally secured. Unfortunately, this four-legged friend also has no identification and is estimated to be five years old.

In addition, a black cat named Scamander and her three kittens were found on Hösbacher Siemensstrasse. Scamander, estimated to be around one and a half years old, appears calm but also insecure. Her healthy kittens, which are only four to five weeks old, have not yet been released for adoption.

Even a canary, which is yellow-black in color and not ringed, was found on Wilhelmstrasse in Aschaffenburg. The age and sex of the bird remain a mystery.

Need for support

The diverse rescue operations show the need to support animal welfare organizations. The Aschaffenburg animal protection association is not only committed to pets, but also takes care of injured and orphaned wild animals. Their close cooperation with fire departments and the Aschaffenburg police station enables animals in need to be secured around the clock. This means you can help quickly and effectively where help is needed.

In this regard, a large part of their work is carried out by committed members, volunteers and animal lovers. The animal shelter is therefore calling for support. If you would like to help, you can contact the Aschaffenburg animal shelter directly:
