Amberg, Deutschland - Amberg shows how important volunteering is in society! Yesterday, on July 2, 2025, the Amberg volunteer agency celebrated a lively exchange of experiences on the premises of the town hall. 24 committed participants have gathered to share their experiences and ideas. Since the foundation of the volunteer agency in 2011, over 1,500 citizens have already demonstrated their commitment in Amberg. The agency cooperates with 90 partners and contributes 88 different offers. More than 170 volunteers are currently active in a total of 16 projects and bring a breath of fresh air to different social areas. A large initiative to support refugees Ukrainians, which includes German courses and leisure activities, was recently launched.
