Dash disposal in danger: hedges and false parkers block streets!

Unterallgäu, Deutschland - In the Unterallgäu, the garbage vehicles have been facing some challenges recently. Close roads, overhanging plants and ruthlessly parked vehicles do not make it easy for drivers to reliably drive their routes. As a result, some garbage cans cannot be emptied, which of course causes annoyance among the residents. The district's waste management has therefore made a clear recommendation: hedges should be cut regularly and the parking behavior must be covered. It is important that intersections, confluence and turning ribbons in particular always remain free so that the garbage cars can get through without having difficulty.

The management emphasizes that plants should not protrude into the traffic area and that a height of at least 4.50 meters should be kept free compared to roads. This measure is of great importance not only for garbage disposal, but also for emergency services. Anyone who ensures that the streets remain usable acts in the sense of the community.

sense for nature: regulations in the hedge cut

But not only the practical aspect is important - the protection of the domestic wildlife also plays a significant role. Because many animals find an ideal habitat in hedges and trees, especially at the breeding season from March 1 to September 30th. During this period, a strong pruning or falling trees is not permitted according to the Federal Nature Conservation Act. Nevertheless, cautious form and care cuts are allowed to ensure safety in traffic. "A decent procedure is in demand," said Nabu's experts. They advise you to avoid cuts far into the summer so as not to endanger the endangered bird species.

Before each cut, it should be checked whether there are nests in the hedges. It is not only a question of conscience, but also legally stipulated that reproductive and resting places are protected by wild animals, as stated in § 44 of the Federal Nature Conservation Act. Such regulations are particularly important in gardens and public green spaces.

design

habitats: more than just care

A well -designed garden can not only increase traffic safety, but also create habitats for many animals. NABU recommends the establishment of Benjeshecke, which contain dead wood and rice and offer shelter from various animal species. These structures not only create space for birds, but also for toads, blind sneakes and hedgehogs, which often raise their boys during the summer months. So if you maintain a garden, you can do a lot more than keep your own property beautiful - you can actively contribute to biodiversity and to protect nature.

Finally, it is to be said: dealing responsibly with nature is a task that affects us all. We can easily make a big difference by paying attention to the vegetation around our buildings and at the same time fulfilling the legal requirements. So nothing stands in the way of an effective garbage disposal and a flowering wildlife.
