The cultural summer is just around the corner in beautiful Starnberg and promises to be an absolute highlight for culture lovers again this year. The Starnberg Cultural Summer is taking place for the fourth time and extends fromJune 26th to early August 2024. With over50 events, including28 free concertsin the picturesque Bucentaur Park, there should be something for every taste. The presentation of the program was byPetra Brüderl, the head of the cultural office, who radiantly presented the variety of events on offer.
mayorPatrick JanikAt the event, underlined the importance of the cultural summer for the community and emphasized that these events are suitable for all age groups. This year's budget is tight100,000 euros, thanks to support from sponsors such as the “Otto and Margarete Graber Foundation”, this program was able to be set up.
A colorful program for everyone
The cultural summer program offers a varied experience: In addition to concerts, there are also exhibitions, theater performances, readings, city tours, art projects and child-friendly activities. The Starnberg Cultural Summer also takes place parallel to the Starnberg Cultural Summer ORF cultural summertook place in Austria. This places a special focus on cultural diversity and regionality with extensive broadcasts from festival locations between Lake Constance and Lake Neusiedl. The ORF program also offers over 1,000 multimedia contributions and around 500 hours of television and radio programs. A remarkable summer with many events is also expected in Austria, including the “Summer Night Gala” and the Salzburg Festival.
