Preparations for the new season begin on June 20, 2025. Wolf emphasizes that the top goal of the league is preserving, but the team also wants to play a decent role. It remains to be seen whether you can implement it that way. Part of the strategy is to strengthen the connection to the region because around 70 percent of the players are supposed to come from the area.

A positive sign was the personal congratulations of the BFV President Christoph Kern, who was in the stadium to celebrate the promotion. The BFV reported an impressive spectator interest, even if some disorders in the guest block caused discussions. However, this was not enough to cloud the celebrations.
