Bergische Gartentour 2025: A paradise for plant lovers opens its doors!

Gärten der Bestattung Roth, Bergisch Gladbach, Deutschland - Summer is finally here and with it the wonderful opportunity to discover the diversity and beauty of the gardens in our region. This year the Bergische Gartentour for the 22nd time garden lover and plant lovers, invites you to go through the gates for a variety of private gardens. Every Sunday in June and on a few appointments in July and in September, visitors can experience the colorful garden landscape.

Especially next weekend, June 15, it will be exciting. On this day, numerous gardens open their goals and show their best side. These include the "Gardens of Besting" in Bergisch Gladbach, which with 85,000 square meters not only stand for calm and contemplation, but also offer a beautiful place for nature lovers. The garden of Hildegard Tillmanns, which includes 900 square meters, is also accessible on this day and promises an idyllic view.

In Kürten-Olpe, Monika Schmid's garden is waiting for the visitors. Obstwies and rose beds thrive here on 2,000 square meters, which can be admired on June 15th and again on June 29. In Leichlingen, Kirsten Siefer opens her garden with a studio house, while Cornelia Schützke presents natural gardens in Wermelskirchen, which are accessible on June 14th and 15th.

But that's not all: Gardens of the burial Roth in Bergisch Gladbach, the Garden Schilcher in Gummersbach and the Auerbach garden in Hennef are also part of the program on this special weekend. All gardens are handpicked and offer an impressive variety and originality, such as is reported.

The Open garden gate Rhineland , which has existed since 2002, complements the Bergisches Gartenour with its large number of gardens. Here, too, private facilities invite you to explore the hidden garden treasures of the region on June 14th and 15th, as well as in July and September. The event aims not only to offer access to green oases, but also to promote exchange among garden friends and to share inspiration.

The appointments for the open garden gate are 14./15. June, 12th/13th July and 20./21. September. In combination with the Bergisches Gartentour, there is an abundance of opportunities to experience the floral splendor of the region up close.
