Another ray of hope in this topic comes from the Wildes Bavaria association, which successfully sued the earlier hunting of Rotwild in various areas in the district of Garmisch-Partenkirchen. Originally, several hunting grounds had requested that one -year pieces of Rotwild to be succumbed to from May 1st, while according to the hunting law, this is only permitted from June 1st. With the support of the lower hunting authority, the early shooting was initially approved. But the association intervened and was able to achieve a judicial review in this case. Dr. Christine Miller, the chair of Wildes Bavaria, emphasizes how important it is to critically question the decisions of hunting authorities. This year, in 21 cases of gentle time reduction in the deer, a welcome success for the association.
Current hunting routes and their effects
