Vandalism shock in Karlshuld: swastika and destruction at school!

In the small community of Karlshuld, in the Neuburg-Schrobenhausen district, there has been another case of vandalism that is causing concern among residents. The local police reported that between August 21 and the following Tuesday, the school buildings on Kindergartenstrasse were the target of vandalism. This is happening exactly a year after a number of similar incidents occurred in the same area, as reported by [donaukurier.de](https://www.donaukurier.de/lokales/landkreis-neuburg-schrobenhausen/ Hakenkreuz-an-schule-geschmiert-19367900).

The damage caused in this latest incident amounts to approximately 2000 euros. The vandals went on an unsightly spree and tore two manhole covers from their anchorages. The school building was also daubed with graffiti, including a particularly tasteless swastika smeared with chocolate on a window. If that wasn't enough trouble, a faucet in the schoolyard was violently torn off.

A familiar problem

Such acts of vandalism are not new for the Karlshuld School. According to das-macht-schule.net, the problem can be observed not only in the immediate vicinity of the school, but also in many other educational institutions. It emphasizes the need for preventive measures to avoid such incidents in the future.

The local police have already started an investigation. We are particularly hoping for information from the public in order to quickly clear up this disrespectful act. The Neuburg police station can be reached on (08431) 67 110 to receive relevant information. At a time when community cohesion is of utmost importance, all signs point to community prevention and increased awareness against vandalism.

Citizens are called upon to be vigilant and actively speak out against such incidents. Because it is in our hands to counteract precisely these developments. Only with a good hand and the commitment of the community will we be able to protect our schools from destruction and promote respectful coexistence.
