Rüdenau, Deutschland - What's new in Rüdenau? On Saturday, June 28, 2025, the eagerly awaited Whiskey Festival of the st. Kilian Distillers instead. Up to 4,000 whiskey-loving visitors will flock to the former NATO bunker city and the distillery to enjoy a unique experience. Wonderful atmosphere and tastes are waiting for the guests!

The founder, Andreas Thümmler, launched one of the greatest distilleries in Germany with his passion for whiskey from investment banking. The st. Kilian Destillerie produces Single Malt based on the Scottish model and has now made a name for herself with her mild, peaty and ultra-doors. The brands Bud Spencer and heavy metal whiskeys are also on the menu.

The festival, which takes place from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., offers an extensive program. In addition to free short tours through the distillery, visitors can also visit the Bunker City by 6:00 p.m. There are parking facilities at the Reinhold Keller company in the Galgenrain, 63924 Kleinheubach, and shuttle buses ensure that everyone can comfortably commute between the locations without having to dig deep into the pocket.

Participation in the festival is free of charge, but exclusive tastings and a pre-opening event can only be experienced with ticket access. These can be booked online from February 01, 2025, whereby the digital detection is recommended because printouts are not necessary. On site, visitors can expect a large selection of food trucks that offer vegan, vegetarian and sweet dishes, as well as alcoholic and non -alcoholic drinks.

The St. Kilian distillery has made a name for itself through constant growth and attracts around 20,000 visitors every year. The festival also takes place in the rain, and the distillery itself is barrier -free to do justice to all guests.
