sustainability in focus

City cycles not only have the aim of cycling, but also wants to set an important signal for sustainable urban mobility. The expansion of the bicycle infrastructure is of central importance. In order to promote the switch to the wheel permanently, well -developed bike paths and storage facilities are essential. The Federal Environment Agency indicates that cycling offers numerous advantages: fresh air, movement and avoidance of traffic jams are just a few of them. This also includes that the bike is considered the most environmentally friendly means of transport.

According to the insights from [Radsport-wulff.de] (https://radsport-wulff.de/ Sustainability Aspect-beim-bau-der-Bahrradinfrastructure/), the consideration of sustainability aspects when planning bicycle paths is crucial. Environmentally friendly materials and integrated traffic planning play an increasingly important role here. This not only increases the quality of life in our cities, but also a small contribution to climate protection.
