In the Lichtenfels district, CITY CYCLING came to an end on July 17, 2025 after three intensive weeks. Around 1,097 participants in 66 teams cycled an impressive route totaling 143,167 kilometers. Another highlight was the Burgkunstadt state secondary school, which covered the most total kilometers of schools at 17,629.8 km and saved 2,900 kg of CO₂ in the process. The commitment was great - not only schools were involved, but also 4 kindergartens, 13 companies and 9 sports and cycling clubs. Events and promotions for everyone
During the three weeks there were numerous accompanying events designed to support and promote cycling.
