A very special example of integration is being set in Upper Franconia: On July 10, 2025, the government of Upper Franconia announced the Integration Prize 2025, which goes to initiatives and projects that are actively committed to the integration of people with a migrant background. The aim of the prize is clear: the sustainable integration of people who are entitled to stay permanently should be promoted. The prize is endowed with a total of 7,000 euros, which is provided by the Bavarian State Ministry of the Interior, for Sport and Integration.
