Art in the Sparkassen vault: The crushing dynasty inspires in Kaufbeuren!

Kaufbeuren, Deutschland - in the heart of Kaufbeurens opened the new art exhibition “Krusche - Helmuth, Peter, Eva and Martin” in the Sparkassen vault on July 10, 2025. It is the 45th exhibition of the renowned artist foundation and at the same time the second individual presentation by Peter Krusche in this impressive framework. The exhibition is also the first multi-generation exhibition of the Krusche artist dynasty and attracts numerous art lovers.

During the opening,

Birgit Pfeifer emphasized how important such cultural events are for the region. "The attraction of the artist foundation is unmistakable," said Pfeifer. Franz Endhardt, the chairman of the artist foundation, also spoke about the impressive history and the legacy of the Krusche family, which is closely connected.

The artist family in focus

Helmuth Krusche, who lived from 1927 to 1997, was a native Gablonzer and taught glass and porcelain painters for almost three decades at the state vocational school for glass and jewelry in Kaufbeuren-NeuBablonz. His passion was the art, more than teaching, and he was characterized by impressive control of different techniques - whether with pencil, drawing feather or eraser. His works usually radiate a special silence and tranquility, which is also clear in his nature pictures and paintings by Kaufbeuren.

his son Peter Krusche, born in 1953, is a freelance artist who studied art academies in Nuremberg, Munich and Florence and now lives in Osterzell Castle and Berlin. He is known for his over 110 solo exhibitions and his work, which were presented in several renowned galleries, including the Gallery of Braunbehrens in Munich and the Neuendorf Gallery in Memmingen. Peter Krusche was honored by various scholarships and art prices that honor his extraordinary contributions to contemporary art.

his nephew Martin Krusche, born in 1982 and now worked in Berlin, brings a breath of fresh air to the exhibition with its colorful and naive illustrations. He prefers to work analogously and specializes in various printing techniques. With a creative manuscript, he combines his techniques to create unique work.

Another exciting artist in this diverse family is Eva Krusche, who was born in 1985 and lives in Augsburg. Her art deals with the multi -layered facets of human existence, always looking for answers in color and shape. In the current exhibition, in addition to her paintings, she also shows three impressive sculptures.

vernissage with musical accompaniment

The vernissage, which was impressively accompanied by Philipp Bradatsch, a talented guitarist and songwriter, attracted far over the expected number of visitors. The exhibition runs until August 9th and promises to become a hit for those interested in art and cultural lovers in the region. Furthermore, an anniversary exhibition with award winners of the "Höger Memorial Prize" is already planned for November 24th, which represents another highlight in the cultural calendar of Kaufbeurens.

The Krusche family is not only a fixture in the contemporary art scene in the city, but also nationally. Your different styles and the connection of generations make this exhibition a special event for all visitors.
