Kreisstraße GZ 25 at Oberrohr: Construction work successfully completed!

Oberrohr, Deutschland - The construction work on the district road GZ 25 north of Oberrohr has been completed and the population can breathe a sigh of relief. After almost four months of construction, the 1.8 -kilometer section of the route was officially released for traffic. District Administrator Hans Reichhart emphasizes the importance of the construction work, which not only improves infrastructure, but also increases traffic safety. The two mayors Peter Walburger from Ursberg and Markus Dopfer from Neuburg an der Kammel also underline the importance of this street for Oberrohr and the surrounding area. Thanks also to the construction company LS Bau AG from Thannhausen and the State Building Office Krumbach, which implemented the project significantly, even started construction earlier than planned, since the weather conditions were favorable, such as the Building management reported.

The overall investment for the expansion is around 1.8 million euros. The Free State of Bavaria promotes around one million euros, while the district of Günzburg bears the remaining 800,000 euros. At the inauguration, Pastor Florian Bach from the parish community of Thannhausen-Ursberg was also present, who awarded the street with a church blessing.

environmental protection has priority

The focus on environmental and species protection, which was taken into account in the construction work, is particularly highly highlighted. The modernized amphibian protection systems are an important part of the project to strengthen the habitat of the amphibians and protect their hiking routes. One concern that is of great importance in the region to maintain and promote biodiversity, such as the Bavarian state government Beton.

The work also included the fundamental, stock -oriented new construction of the heavily damaged road as well as the renewal and expansion of the existing amphibian protection systems. The construction work was necessary because the aging street no longer met the requirements for safety and comfort. The expansion was therefore associated with a full closure of the district road, while the detour route via the State Road ST 2023 and the federal road B 300 was signposted.

a step into the future

With the completion of the construction work on GZ 25, not only mobility in the region is strengthened, but also an important step towards environmentally friendly traffic routes. The Bavarian road construction administration pursues the goal of reducing the traffic load and minimizing noise pollution in the surrounding communities. In the future, noise protection will also be taken into account, both in the case of new buildings and changes in roads. The challenges are diverse and the requirements for nature and environmental protection must be properly implemented in order to secure the quality of life of the population.

Overall, it can be seen that the expansion of the GZ 25 district road was not only a necessary measure, but also paves the way for an environmentally conscious and safe transport infrastructure. In view of these progress, residents can look optimistically into the future.
