Children's Day at Tropical Islands: Free tickets for children on June 15th and 22nd!
June 1, 2025 was a special day in Tropical Islands as International Children's Day was celebrated. On this day, children up to 12 years old had free entry to the popular water park, which delighted many young visitors and their parents. However, the high demand meant that not all guests were able to fully enjoy the day. Therefore, to the delight of families, additional days were created where admission for children is free.
On June 15th and 22nd, 2025 there will be another “Kids Free!” campaign. give. 1,000 free tickets are available for children on each of these days. Kim Schäfer, the park's marketing director, emphasized that the memories of the disappointed faces at the entrance motivated us to give the children who couldn't participate the first time a second chance. In order to enjoy the free tickets, families should act quickly: the tickets are only available in advance via the online ticket shop and can be used with the promo code. For all other visitors, a reduced children's price of 50 percent applies after the free quota has been exhausted.
An offer that attracts families
The anticipation and good will to give families special experiences are behind this campaign. The offer not only attracts the little ones, but also ensures that parents can look forward to reduced admission. The regular price for a children's ticket is usually 33.90 euros, but the opportunity to get in for free is not only being used by local residents.
Another aspect of World Children's Day is that it is celebrated in over 145 countries to draw attention to children's rights and child protection. While World Children's Day is celebrated in Germany and Austria on September 20th, June 1st is an important day for many countries around the world. With this in mind, a campaign for World Children's Day is also being organized in Europa-Park, another popular excursion destination, in which the Child Protection Association wants to set an example for the rights of children. This commitment shows the importance of such celebrations and the shared focus on the well-being of children.
The organizers of Europa-Park, including Mauritia Mack and Edith Schreiner, have dedicated themselves to child protection for over 15 years and are committed to improving the living conditions of children and families. This is just one example of how theme parks are becoming important players in society when it comes to drawing attention to social issues.
However, visitors planning to come to Tropical Islands in the coming weekends should not feel too safe. It is advised to check the park website in advance for possible capacity constraints. So nothing stands in the way of an unforgettable family outing, and perhaps the children who came away empty-handed last time can also experience the full fun this time.
