Political priorities and goals
The Green Party in Ebersberg is currently the second largest group in the city council with five seats and has great ambitions for the coming election. The estimate is a realistic five to seven mandates. The central issues that the Greens want to focus on during the election campaign include climate protection, energy transition, sustainable mobility and social urban development as well as citizen-oriented politics.
But that's not all: preparations for the 2026 local elections are in full swing throughout the Free State. The local and district associations are actively looking for suitable candidates; membership is not mandatory. This makes access to political participation easier and promotes diversity on the lists. According to the Green Party's website, there will also be workshops focused on strategic election campaigns and fundraising. This is an important opportunity to prepare everyone interested for the upcoming elections, which shows that the Greens don't just have women's quotas on their agenda.
What's next?
The focus is therefore clearly on designing a future-proof, sustainable policy that both listens to the concerns of citizens and focuses on their needs. It remains exciting to see what voters will decide next year. Those interested should not miss the opportunity and sometimes simply take the pulpit of political events.
