Schlossstraße 6, 86641 Rain am Lech, Deutschland - in Rain am Lech it will soon be festive, because the Rainer FotoFreunde e.V. celebrate an impressive anniversary: ​​40 years of club history! From June 22nd to 29th, 2025, a large exhibition will take place in the beautiful Rainer Schlossssaal, which will present the creative works of more than 50 active members. Photographs from various genres are shown-from fascinating nature shots to expressive architecture, still life and lively street photographs.

The Rainer Photo Freunde, who were launched by nine photo enthusiasts on June 20, 1985, have been committed to the exchange of experiences and the joint further development in photography right from the start. Regular club evenings and various activities are on the association's agenda, which has already successfully organized the DVF districts of Swabia and the Swabian photo championship.

The anniversary exhibition

At the anniversary exhibition, visitors can expect around 60 photographs in the 50 × 65 cm format, which are presented both analogously and digitally. The organizers hope for lively interest and many stimulating conversations with the guests. The opening times are as follows: On Sunday, June 22nd from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., from Monday to Saturday (June 23-28) from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. and on Sunday, June 29th again from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.

A closer look at the photographs shows how multifaceted the medium has become over the years. The development of analogous to digital photography is closely described in science. For example, the theory and history of photography has been scientifically examined at Folkwang University of the Arts since the 1970s.
