District road DAH 12: closure announced during the autumn holidays!
An important change for the traffic situation in the Dachau district is imminent. The southern section of the DAH 12 district road will be completely closed for four days during the coming autumn holidays. Comprehensive roadway renovations will begin at 6 a.m. on Monday, November 3rd and are expected to last until Friday, November 7th. The route affected is from the Munich district border north of Lake Langwieder to the junction to Gröbenzell (Eschenrieder Straße), north of the A99 motorway. The reason for the closure is the need to renew the road surface Süddeutsche.de reported.
The construction work includes milling the existing road surface and applying a new asphalt surface layer. Work on the shoulders and road markings should also be completed during this period, weather conditions permitting. The residents have already been informed so that they can adapt to the temporary circumstances.
Detour and traffic information
As is usual with such construction work, inconveniences may arise. If you are traveling on the DAH 12 from Munich to Gröbenzell, you will have to allow a little more time. The marking work, which will take place after the main construction work has been completed, can be carried out without another full closure, but good planning is advisable to avoid traffic jams.
