Mysterious attack in Regensburg: man injured and stolen cell phone!

On the night of June 29, 2025, a 34-year-old homeless person was seriously injured in Furtmayrstrasse in Regensburg. The man who slept on the forecourt of the St. Anton church reported that his mobile phone, a Samsung Galaxy A36, was stolen during the incident. Despite the serious injuries, he was able to go to a hospital independently where he was treated. The police were only informed about the incident a few hours later.

The criminal police in Regensburg has taken over the investigation and carried out extensive trace backups. So far, however, surveys in the neighborhood have not led to any indicable information. The injured person is described as strikingly thin, with dark -skinned skin color and broken German. He wore a dark jacket with white applications, white sneakers and had a black backpack of the Adidas brand. The police asks the population for relevant information, especially people who have made suspicious observations between 01:30 a.m. and 3:45 a.m. near the Church of St. Anton or in the Ostpark.
