on Tuesday evening, June 24, 2025, the rescue workers in Vilshofen were alerted after an injured man was discovered. Tragically, only the 27-year-old's death could be found in his apartment. Officials from the Vilshofen police inspection found the lifeless body, while the emergency doctor could no longer find signs of life.

The investigation is already in full swing: the Passau criminal police and the Passau public prosecutor are now clarifying the circumstances of death. An autopsy that was carried out on Wednesday revealed a fatal stab injury on the upper body. Now the burning question remains whether this injury was inflicted by third parties or whether the man may have injured himself. The investigators face a mystery while the background is still in the dark.
