Mysterious fire in Deggendorf: Police are looking for witnesses!

On June 9th and 13th, 2025, there were alarming fires in Deggendorf, which may have arson. On the first day, around 6 p.m., a hedge in Bahnhofstrasse fell on flames. Fortunately, neighbors noticed the fire and helped the homeowner to delete it quickly. But just four days later, on June 13th at 8:20 p.m., another fire broke out in a garage in the hallway. Here, too, it was the quick intervention of the residents that prevented the worse before the fire brigade arrived.

The Deggendorf criminal police have taken over the investigation and does not rule out fire. The property damage to the garage is estimated at around 1000 euros. Witnesses who can provide information about the fires are urgently asked to report on 0991/3896-0
