In the night of Monday, June 23, 2025, a breathtaking incident occurred on Lindwurmstrasse: an electric scooter with two people was discovered by a police patrol. When the officials wanted to stop the vehicle, the driver accelerated the gas and raced towards Goetheplatz. The persecution led over Häberlstraße until the driver lost control while turning into Waltherstrasse and fell with his passenger.

Instead of staying, both fled from the accident site on foot, leaving their motorcycle helmets behind. After the fall, at least minor injuries can be assumed. The electric scooter, which was handed over after the accident of the rental company, only suffered slight damage to property. Now the Munich traffic police are investigating due to dangerous intervention in road traffic.
