SpVgg Bayreuth starts with new additions to the 2025/26 season!

On June 17, 2025, the time had finally come: The 1st team of SpVgg Bayreuth started preparing for the 2025/26 regional league season. At 5:00 p.m. the starting signal was on the training terrain of Post-SV Bayreuth. The atmosphere was unique, numerous fans and spectators came to follow the first training sessions of the new season.

The program not only included the first exercises, but also the presentation of new faces in the team. The newcomer Thomas Winklbauer , who moves from the third division club SpVgg Unterhaching to the old town. The 26-year-old center forward, born in the upper Bavarian, brings over 100 missions in the regional league Bayern and is seen as a valuable reinforcement for the offensive game.

The new team also includes other newcomers such as Luis Klein, Tino Lennerth, Ben Fischer, Leon Bucher, Henry Höcker, who is new as goalkeeper, Maurice Dehler, Alexander Seidel and Lukas Quirin. Trainer Lukas Kling and managing director Dr. Nicole Kalemba were also represented and look forward to the coming season.

Tobias Weber, who has been active for ten years. Goalkeeper coach Fabian Kolb is ready for the goalkeeper training to prepare the young goalkeeper team for the challenges.
