A shocking incident occurred on Wednesday afternoon in Hans-Sachs-Straße: Two unknown perpetrators penetrated into the apartment of an older gentleman and stole several hundred euros in cash. While one of the crooks spent out as a heating reader and involved the senior in a conversation, the other searched the apartment unnoticed for valuables. The audacity of these criminals is alarming because they have taken a clear plan and specifically exploited weaknesses.

The Bayreuth criminal police have now started the investigation and checks possible connections to similar cases from the previous month. So far, the perpetrators have only been described vaguely: the first is about 35 to 40 years old, deeply, 175 cm tall, with light hair and a white t-shirt with light blue inscription. His accomplice is about 30 years old, slim, 180 to 185 cm tall and wore a light blue T-shirt. The police asks the population for clues to hold these unscrupulous criminals into account.
