In the magical city of Bamberg, known for its beer culture and historical atmosphere, exciting events are scheduled at the University of Bamberg in the coming days. OnDecember 2, 2025invites the renowned professor of modern German literature,Prof. Dr. Andrea Bartl, for their annual book recommendation evening. Um6 p.mwill be the reading ofMartin Neubaueraccompanied, while the editorThomas Körberis also present. This novel tells the story of the writer Michael Adams, who returns to Bamberg in 1950. This presentation is not only a homage to literature, but also reflects social conditions in the post-war period.
Christmas magic concert
And that's not all! OnDecember 6, 2025the auditorium of the University of Bamberg is transformed into a festive place for the “Christmas magic". Away3 p.mand again6 p.mGuests can enjoy Advent and Christmas carols and sing along with the chamber choir, brass ensemble and string orchestra. After the concerts, visitors can enjoy mulled wine or punch in the cloister of the former Dominican church, which perfectly rounds off the festive atmosphere.
