In the district of Augsburg, something is happening for environmental protection! The starting signal for the “Augsburger-Land-Becher” project has been given and it promises to become a real enrichment for all nature and environmental fans. In a joint initiative, the waste management company (AWB) and business development have bundled their strength to promote sustainable event formats and to avoid disposable waste. District Administrator Martin Sailer emphasizes the importance of the new cup for sustainable action. The cup is not only uncomplicated and sustainable, but also regionally shaped. It is available in two practical sizes: the 0.4-liter cup, ideal for club and village festivals as well as markets, and the 0.2-liter cup, which is perfect for children's festivals and daycare celebrations. An additional plus: The issue, booking and withdrawal of the cups is carried out by the event service provider "Eventmeile". Professional and resource -saving cleaning guarantees that the cups are always in perfect condition. For the users, only the cleaning costs are incurred, the loan itself is free of charge.
The funding, which is offered from July 1, 2025 to December 31, 2026, is particularly gratifying. Clubs, schools, kindergartens and communities can use the cup free of charge and even receive a reimbursement of cleaning costs. However, interested parties should note that the funding does not apply to private individuals and that the delivery costs are not covered.
